Khaite Wilder
Khaite Wilder first began painting with her mother at a home studio in the woods of Vermont. She would follow her mother as she picked wildflowers and bring them back to consider how they might be arranged in an inspiring composition. Khaite's work retains the spirit of her mother's eye and love of northeastern landscapes while bringing a sense of the light and self discovery that comes in exploring the translation of what we see and touch with our hands into a painted artifact that conveys the beauty of the human spirit. Every painting is so much more than a painting to Khaite, sharing her work with her fellow human travelers gives her great joy and purpose.
